my name is billie and i am trying to learn more about my mothers side of the family her last name was york and i dont know much about my family history or anything really and i was wondering how i get started...the reason for my doing thing is not only for my own personal interest but because i have a son and one day i would love to be able to show him where he comes from and the histroy behind my family so anyone with any information please feel free to contact me at

my grandfathers name was lawrence york and he married my grandmother pat but thats about all i know other than there is a farm in tamworth ontario that he grew up 9on with his brothers keith and glen but thats all i really know and i would love to learn more
