Mary Ann York, b. Apr. 10, 1830 in Illinois, d. Feb. 22, 1915 most likely in Brown, Co., IL. Married to William A. Taylor abt. 1848. Mother of Elizabeth Delaney Taylor.
The 1870, 1880, 1900 and 1910 census’ list her residence as Versailles Twp., Brown Co., IL. Her father’s place of birth is reported variously as: Kentucky, Indiana or Tennesee. Mother’s place of birth reported as: South Carolina and Indiana.
