I have recently found the parents of my GGrandfather, Paul Thomas Crafton. His mother was Elizabeth (Betsy) Younger daughter of Kennard. Elizabeth married a EH Harmon in Bullit Country KY, and was evidently widowed I do not know if there were chlldren by that marriage. She remarried my GGGrandfather Thomas Crafton in 1849 in Trimble County Ky, and they had Paul Thomas in 1851. There may be another son, John W. b 1847? from the marriage. Court records show she apprenticed John to a farmer in 1859. Thomas was over 40 years her senior and he died in 1858.
I have court records of them selling property of Kennard's and records of Elizabeth granting guardianship of Paul to a Mathias Whitaker. Elizabeth was in Trimble in 1860 according to court records, but I have never been able to find her in a 1860 census or any records of a third marriage or death. Any info on her would be greatly appreciated.
