I know this is a long shot, but I guess I'm trying to find any possible family relations.
Unfortunately I don't have much family history (my mother & father separated when I was very young.)
My father was Melvin Eugene Younger. I think born June 8, 1940. Supposedly from Missouri. I think he had at least one sister, not sure of any other siblings. I believe he served in the army. Unfortunately I just learned that he passed away Aug 18, 2006. (A bit disconcerting learning your father died via Google.)
I'm not sure if he had any other children before or after me. I know he lived in Texas and most recently in Tennessee.
I vaguely remember hearing that the family originally descended from Welsh or Scottish immigrants. I had also been told that the family was related to the outlaw Youngers, however from what research I have been able to do on my own and from reading through the info here, that seems unlikely.
