I am trying to figure out where these Zimmermans fit into the West Penn Zimmermans. The 1850 census lists Christine (1795), Abraham (1825), Lovina (1828), Moses (1830), Noah (1832)and Cordelia (1842). The 1860 census lists Christine, Abraham, Noah, Mary (1854) and Elias (1820). The 1870 census shows 2 households. Abraham, Mary and Moses are in one, and Noah, Angelina (1842), Amanda (1867) and Abraham (1869)are in the other. By 1800, they have reunited and added Sarah (1824, Abrahams wife) to their ranks. By 1900, Abraham (1869)is married to Priscilla (1869). Moses is in The Schuylkill Co. Almshouse & Hospital. It appears this family never moved from West Penn. There must be some record of their births and/or deaths. Please let me know if you are aware of their roots, or any specifics on their lives. My family is related through Cordelia.
